Roger Walker Head of Sustainability Consultancy, Napier & Blakeley Pty Ltd (at time of writing) Roger Walker is the manager of sustainability at the building, design and consultancy group Napier & Blakeley. He graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in land economy, and worked for six years in valuation before entering the facilities management industry. Since then he has held senior management positions with The Australian Document Exchange, Jones Lang La Salle, Commonwealth Bank, Westpac Bank and Optus. In these roles, Roger has repeatedly created programs to save tremendous amounts of water, electricity and landfill through innovative best practice solutions that has won him industry recognition. In 2008 Roger was awarded the FMA Environment Achievement Award along with the NSW Government 2008 Green Globe Individual Award Sustainability Champion. Roger also works with the Australian Greenhouse Office and Sydney University Warren Centre voluntarily on issues associated with environment management particularly in energy efficiency in existing buildings.
