![]() Dr David Gallagher Professor of Management (Finance), Macquarie Graduate School of Management (at time of writing) Gallagher was most recently chief executive at the Centre for International Finance and Regulation (CIFR). He re-joined the Faculty of Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) in January 2017, which was recently announced by the Financial Times as being Australia's top ranked MBA program. He is also a research director at Capital Markets CRC and previous academic appointments include roles at UNSW Business School, the University of Technology, Sydney, and the University of Texas at Austin. He has also served as a visiting scholar at the Investment Company Institute in Washington DC. Prior to his academic career, Gallagher was a financial analyst at Willis Towers Watson in the asset consulting division.
