Zein El Hassan is a leading financial services lawyer with over 17 years experience advising on product development, licensing, disclosure and distribution issues relating to products, and services within the financial services industry. Zein's main areas of practice are superannuation, life insurance and financial services regulation and compliance. He also has extensive experience in advising on corporate governance, and the superannuation aspects of mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructures. Zein is a member of the Clayton Utz Financial Services Regulation team, was a member of the FSR Implementation Consultative Committee assisting Federal Treasury and also a member of a number of IFSA Working Groups. He also lectures on superannuation and funds management in the University of NSW Masters of Law course, which is the first specialist combined funds management and superannuation law course in Australia and has been developed in conjunction with the Clayton Utz Financial Services team.
